Selected papers will be invited to extend their content for being considered for publication in an special issue in the Journal of Imaging
Technical papers up to 12 pages (minimum 8 pages) on any topic within the scope of the conference are solicited. Contributions from both inside and outside the UK, on the spectrum of medical image analysis – from technical advances to novel practical applications and software developments – are welcome and encouraged. Each paper will be evaluated by three reviewers. The accepted papers will be published in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) with Springer. Therefore, submissions must adhere to the format of the publisher. Detailed instructions appear here. Needless to say, neither plagiarism, nor self-plagiarism, nor duplicate publication is acceptable.
Authors of accepted papers are expected to present their papers at the conference and at least one author of each paper MUST register for the conference in order for the papers to be included in the proceedings.
As CCIS publication, accepted papers are indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, El-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago and Scopus.
This year, extended 1 page clinical abstracts showing applications of any image processing technique are also welcome. Clinical abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings, and therefore, published in the conference website, but will not be included in the CCIS publication by Springer.
In the conference, they will be presented as traditional posters in portrait A0 format. A selection of abstracts will be also invited for a 2-minutes oral presentation on a dedicated session at the event.
